The Size Charts give general body measurements. 

Be aware that our men's pants sizes are somewhat different that normal retail sizes.  Please measure your waist at the belly button level to determine correct ordering size.

 

Chest/Bust:  Measure under the arm around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist:  Measure around your natural waistline at belly button level; keep your measuring tape comfortably loose.

Hips:  Measure around the fullest part of your hips.  4" below your waist (3 1/2" below waist for petites).

Inseam:  Measure from the inside upper thigh to the floor.  TIP:  Measure the inseam of your favorite fitting pair of pants!

Because we want you to be happy with the fit of your dancewear, please review the size chart below, and order your garments appropriately.

We want you to be happy with your new shoes, so please try them on a clean, soft surface to prevent soiling of the suede soles. SHOES WITH SOILED SOLES OR SHOES WHICH HAVE BEEN USED ON A HARD SURFACE CANNOT BE RETURNED FOR CREDIT OR EXCHANGE.
Your dancing comfort and your satisfaction is very important to us.   Please review the information below before ordering shoes.

 

General Sizing
Dance shoes are generally worn smaller than street shoes. They must fit snugly, but without pinching, to maintain balance on the dance floor. The shoes will stretch so they must start out tighter than they will normally be worn. However, the shoes should not hurt. Glove snug is the goal. Please try to consider if the fit is uncomfortable, or just different from a street shoe.  All of our shoes are American sizes.

Closed Toe
In closed-toe styles (women's and men's) the toes should be as close to the end of the shoe as comfortable, without crunching your toes. Generally, when ordering closed-toe shoes, order your street shoe size.


Open Toe
In open-toe shoes the sole should be completely covered by your feet; some dancers prefer their toes go over the sole by up to 1/4 inch. This is subject to wearer preference; some ladies are very uncomfortable with coming to or over the end of the sole. We suggest going as short as is comfortable for you.  Generally, when ordering open toe shoes, order 1/2 a size smaller than your street shoe size.

When the shoes begin to stretch enough to allow feet to slip inside them, invest in a pair of foam inner soles and use them. The more your feet can move inside dance shoes, the faster the shoes will stretch, become misshapen and wear out.

Each of our ballroom dance shoes represents professional craftsmanship and is manufacturer guaranteed.  Our shoes are lightweight, flexible and have professional suede soles that give you just the right amount of friction on the dance floor.  They are built to allow you to glide on the floor without being slippery, but will not grip the floor as rubber soles do.  All of our dancing shoes have arch support and superior cushioning for your dancing comfort.  They are a necessary accessory of the dance and will make your dancing far more enjoyable.
